BCT Wealth Advisors Announces News of Clearstead Advisors' Acquisition of Willbanks, Smith and Thomas

Charles Town, WV, July 2, 2024 — BCT Wealth Advisors, a division of Bank of Charles Town, recently announced the news about Wilbanks, Smith, and Thomas Asset Management (WST), BCT Wealth Advisors’ investment management partner, being acquired by Clearstead Advisors, LLC, a leading registered financial advisor (“RIA”).

Clearstead Advisors and its subsidiaries have approximately $44 billion in total assets under advisement, 225 employees, and offices in nine cities. Former WST partners and employees will remain in place and continue to serve BCT Wealth Advisors and its clients with a significant increase in capabilities as a result of the merger.
