By way of introduction, my name is Steve Cowen, Director of Mortgage Banking with BCT. In addition to leading our mortgage lending team, I write Cowen’s Corner - Mortgage Market Update, a weekly blog for local mortgage brokers, realtors, and others interested in weekly mortgage and economic trends that may affect the week’s housing sales activity. I also throw in a little of my (crazy) family life that includes Virginia Tech baseball, horse competitions, dogs, and my wife reminding me who’s boss. Many readers appreciate my tribe’s adventures as much as the market updates.
